Grievance Policy - Introduction
Shri Basaveshwar College of BCA (SBCBCA) is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, and responsive system to address grievances from students, faculty, and staff. Our Grievance Redressal Policy aims to provide a structured process for resolving concerns in a timely and impartial manner.
Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to grievances related to:
- Academic matters (examinations, results, teaching methodology, etc.).
- Administrative services (admissions, fee-related issues, facilities, etc.).
- Harassment or misconduct.
- Any other concerns affecting the college community.
Grievance Redressal Procedure
Step 1: Submission of Grievance
Grievances can be submitted through:
- Contact Form
- Written complaint submitted to the Grievance Redressal Committee.
Step 2: Acknowledgment & Review
- The grievance will be acknowledged within 48 hours of submission.
- The Grievance Redressal Committee will review the complaint and conduct necessary inquiries.
Step 3: Resolution & Response
- The issue will be addressed within 7-15 working days, depending on its complexity.
- The resolution will be communicated to the complainant via email or official notice.
Step 4: Appeal Process
- If the complainant is not satisfied with the resolution, they may appeal to the Principal for reconsideration.
Grievance Redressal Committee
The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) consists of:
- Chairperson: Principal of SBCBCA
- Members: Senior faculty, administrative staff, and student representatives
- Grievance Officer: Designated faculty member responsible for addressing grievances
Confidentiality & Non-Retaliation
- All grievances will be handled with strict confidentiality.
- No individual will face retaliation or discrimination for submitting a grievance.
